About Fit Ball Fitness

Fit ball Fitness
Fit ball Fitness is a challenging balance-based group exercise session conducted by an accredited exercise physiologist. The class aims to improve the individual’s static and dynamic balance, postural alignment and awareness of correct posture. Enhancing core stability, improving full body strength including pelvic floor and reinforcing healthy breathing are important goals of this class During this class participants will be challenged to perform a series of balance and strength tasks which may include holding the fit ball, moving the fit ball or coordinating movements seated on the fit ball. Participants will be required to safely transition onto the floor for core and pelvic floor mat work. Our class enhances body awareness while performing slow controlled movements.
Class duration is approximately fifty minutes and includes warm up, standing static & dynamic balance, standing upper body and lower body strength, seated exercise on fit ball & floor based exercises. Appropriate cool down and flexibility training will always conclude the exercise session.

Functional Fitness is a group exercise session conducted by an accredited exercise physiologist. The class aims to safely challenge a range of fitness components for our healthy ageing population e.g. focusing on muscular strength & endurance, cardiac health, flexibility, balance and coordination. Our classes have been structured using a combination of different equipment to improve functionality especially important for activities of everyday living. Posture correction is a focus throughout the classes, and education is continually provided on how to maintain correct posture through appropriate muscle activation that can be transferred to all movement based activities.
Class duration is approximately fifty minutes and includes a warm-up, balance and coordination training, functional strength training, flexibility and breathing, aerobic exercise and a warm-down. Each component of the class lasts for approximately ten minutes.

Boxing is a fantastic method of exercise for losing weight as well as improving cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and balance. There is a heavy focus on proper technique to minimize the risk of injury. Boxing gloves are provided for the session, and inner gloves can be either brought or purchased before the class. About Fit Ball Fitness

Fit ball Fitness
Fit ball Fitness is a challenging balance-based group exercise session conducted by an accredited exercise physiologist. The class aims to improve the individual’s static and dynamic balance, postural alignment and awareness of correct posture. Enhancing core stability, improving full body strength including pelvic floor and reinforcing healthy breathing are important goals of this class During this class participants will be challenged to perform a series of balance and strength tasks which may include holding the fit ball, moving the fit ball or coordinating movements seated on the fit ball. Participants will be required to safely transition onto the floor for core and pelvic floor mat work. Our class enhances body awareness while performing slow controlled movements.
Class duration is approximately fifty minutes and includes warm up, standing static & dynamic balance, standing upper body and lower body strength, seated exercise on fit ball & floor based exercises. Appropriate cool down and flexibility training will always conclude the exercise session.

About Functional Fitness

Functional Fitness is a group exercise session conducted by an accredited exercise physiologist. The class aims to safely challenge a range of fitness components for our healthy ageing population e.g. focusing on muscular strength & endurance, cardiac health, flexibility, balance and coordination. Our classes have been structured using a combination of different equipment to improve functionality especially important for activities of everyday living. Posture correction is a focus throughout the classes, and education is continually provided on how to maintain correct posture through appropriate muscle activation that can be transferred to all movement based activities.
Class duration is approximately fifty minutes and includes a warm-up, balance and coordination training, functional strength training, flexibility and breathing, aerobic exercise and a warm-down. Each component of the class lasts for approximately ten minutes.

The sessions are run by our ACE (Australian Combat and Exercise) accredited exercise physiologists and are developed to be suitable for people of any age and fitness level. Boxing is a fantastic method of exercise for losing weight as well as improving cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and balance. There is a heavy focus on proper technique to minimize the risk of injury. Boxing gloves are provided for the session, and inner gloves can be either brought or purchased before the class. This class may be inappropriate for individuals with certain injuries or conditions, so check your eligibility with the exercise physiologists at Healthy Connections before you participate.
