Healthy Connections offers a range of specialised fitness classes, instructed by accredited Exercise Physiologists. These are held at the Burnie Brae Centre – 60 Kuran Street, Chermside.

Functional Fitness

Improve your muscular strength, physical endurance, aerobic fitness, balance, coordination and flexibility.

Thursday 8am – 9am  |  $10 per class

Yoga

 An eclectic, contemporary blend of gentle yoga postures. This class focuses on strength, flexibility, breathing, relaxation and in getting to know the body.

Thursday 3:45pm – 4:45pm  |  $10 per class

Matwork Pilates

Clinical Pilates is a form of physical exercise that focuses on posture, balance, control, strength, flexibility and breathing.

Friday 7:30am – 8:30am  |  $12 per class

Bookings are not required. All equipment is supplied*. 

A Burnie Brae Membership is required to attend these activities. If you are not already a member, you can sign up for free online (click here) or call 3624 2110.

* As a response to COVID-19, you will be required to bring your own mat for Matwork Pilates. If applicable, alternate fitness equipment may be used. Classes may not be suitable for people with medical or mobility concerns.
