Clinical Groups

Consultation

New Health Connections clients are required to undergo an assessment with one of our Exercise Physiologists prior to commencing a program/session. The consultation involves discussing the client’s medical history and current health status as well as undertaking a variety of modified fitness tests.

This information is used to formulate an individualised exercise program to improve general health and wellness. Exercise programs are constructed around the central components of fitness; cardiovascular health, strength and functionality, balance, and flexibility. The program is tailored around each individual’s specific conditions and/or injuries, and also focus on reaching personal goals.

Customised Program

Exercise Physiologsts

Our qualified Exercise Physiologists (EPs) are always on hand to supervise the sessions and offer assistance. EP’s heavily emphasise correct techniques to ensure the use of appropriate muscles and reduce the risk of injury.

Our clients are provided with ongoing care and individual exercise programs are continually adjusted and progressed to maximise exercise benefits. This service is also applicable to members who opt for a home-based program, or a specialised program to target a specific need (i.e. weight management, event preparation, overseas travel).
